Prof Surjit Singh

Prof Singh is a distinguished paediatric leader, heading the Paediatrics Department and Paediatric Allergy/Immunology Unit at PGIMER, Chandigarh. He expanded academic programs, introducing DM Programs and Fellowships, and boasts 480 research publications. He founded India’s first Paediatric Immunology Unit and initiated the sole DM Program in Paediatric Clinical Immunology/Rheumatology. His influence also extends nationally, as he actively participates in key medical boards.
