Prof Monia Ouederni is the head of the Department of Pediatrics: Immunopathology, hematology and Stem Cell Transplantation at the National Bone Marrow Transplant Center, Tunis, and Head of the Pediatric section in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tunis El Manar, Tunisia. She is an expert in the diagnosis and management of primary immune deficiencies. She was qualified in medicine from the University of Monastir, Tunisia. 

She specialised in Pediatric Immunopathology and Hematology in the immune-hematology unit of Necker, college of Medicine Paris hospitals. She obtained a degree in pediatric immunohematology in the Faculty of Medicine La Timone in Marseille France, a degree in immunology, and a degree in infection and transplantation at the Paris Descartes University, France. Her current research interests include primary immune deficiencies, pediatric hematology, and stem cell transplantation. Professor OUEDERNI is the president of the working party ‘Immunopathology and hematology in the Tunisian Society of Pediatrics and is currently a reviewer for several international journals.
