
Dr Thanyavi Chinsuwan

Dr Thanyavi Chinsuwan is an early career researcher at Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, where he also works as a Lecturer at the Department of Microbiology. He obtained his doctorate from Shinshu University in Nagano, Japan. His doctoral thesis focused on engineering CAR-T cells with piggyBac transposon system and testing the cellular product against solid tumours.
He is a member of Center of Excellence in Cellular Immunotherapy, a research team within Chulalongkorn University that is conducting three phase I clinical trials of CAR-T therapies against malignancies and autoimmune diseases. His ongoing research projects aim to make cellular immunotherapy more accessible to patients by utilising non-viral transfection methods.
