Tracy Shaw, PhD is a distinguished business growth strategist with expertise spanning financial services and healthcare, currently leading client engagement strategy for Equitable. Her work focuses on easing access to resources that improve quality of life through enhanced customer experience, process efficiency, and innovative product development. Her previous experience as an executive benefit consultant included co-inventing the patented 401kSecure, which helps 401(k) participants protect their savings against contribution disruption due to disabling events.

Dr Shaw holds prominent leadership positions in patient advocacy, serving as Board Chair of the Immune Deficiency Foundation and Board Director for the International Patient Organization for Primary Immunodeficiency (IPOPI). She is also a trustee for the National Endowment for Financial Education, immediate past Board Chair of SCORE, and a member of CHIEF.

As a solo mother to a young adult living with primary immunodeficiency disease, Dr. Shaw brings personal insight to her patient advocacy work, particularly those with PI. Through Maddie’s Herd, a patient-voice organization founded by her daughter, she briefly held a Guinness World Record for the PI Fight for PI fundraiser.

Dr Shaw holds an MBA from Western Connecticut State University and a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Adler University, where her doctoral research focused on sustaining women-owned healthcare small businesses.
