Prof Behsaien is an Associate Professor of Paediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hassan II University of Casablanca. She heads the Clinical Immunology Unit within the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Clinical Immunology at A. Harouchi Children’s Hospital, Ibn Rochd University Hospital.

Prof Benhsaien also serves as Vice Director of the Laboratory of Clinical Immunology, Infection, and Allergy at Hassan II University. She is President of the Moroccan Society for Primary Immunodeficiency (MSPID), Treasurer of both the Hajar Association for Children with Primary Immunodeficiency and the Moroccan Society of Immunology (SMI), and is in charge of Training and Education at the African Society for Primary Immunodeficiency (ASID). she is also involved in NGO as treasurer of Hajar association for patients suffering from primary immunodeficiency and as member of medical advisory panel of IPOPI.
