Vice-President of INGID and a member since 2019, Patricia Luck is a Registered Nurse, MScN, and PhD candidate. She works as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) at the University Children’s Hospital of Zurich, Switzerland, specialising in immunology. Her clinical work focuses on paediatric patients with inborn errors of immunity (IEI), including SCID, CGD, Microdeletion 22q11, B-cell defects, familial Mediterranean fever, and patients undergoing stem cell transplantation (SCT). Her primary role involves counselling families, supporting them in understanding illness management, and helping them integrate it into their daily lives. 

In her PhD research, Patricia is developing a psycho-educational nursing intervention aimed at supporting parents following their newborn’s diagnosis of an IEI through national newborn screening.
