Prof Jettanong Klaewsongkram

Prof Jettanong Klaewsongkram is a Professor of Medicine and Head of the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Chulalongkorn University. His research focuses on drug allergy, severe cutaneous adverse reactions (SCARs), and immune dysfunction in immunodeficient patients.

His research on adult-onset immunodeficiency due to anti-interferon-gamma (IFNγ) autoantibodies has contributed to the understanding of opportunistic infections and associated cutaneous manifestations (Acta Derm Venereol. 2018). He has completed international fellowships at Johns Hopkins University and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA.

He previously served as Secretary General of the Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Association of Thailand (2012-2014) and is a member of the Adverse Drug Reaction Committee of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI).

At IPIC2025, Prof Klaewsongkram will present “Refractory mycobacterial infections in patients with IFNγ antibodies,” discussing diagnostic challenges and treatment strategies for this condition.
